| NutriEdge fertilizer is a new liquid fertilizer
package developed by Ag Valley Coop agronomists. It is formulated for better
yields, higher profits, convenience, and improving soil fertility.
After years and years of soil testing, fertilizing, and analyzing crop response, Ag Valley agronomists have developed fertilizer blends to work better in this area. NutriEdge liquid fertilizers are a blend of mono and polyphosphate,
nitrogen (UAN), potassium thiosulfate (KTS), and ammonium thiosulfate
fertilizer providing your crop with the correct blend of N-P-K-S. These
four nutrients work together to get greater yields and add to your profitability.
Phosphorus (P) plays a major role in photosynthesis,
metabolism, and energy transfer from cells to dry matter (grain). This
nutrient is especially important at planting time. It helps the root system
develop more quickly, so the plant can more readily take up moisture and
nutrients. This nutrient can be the limiting factor in our region do to
high pH, making this nutrient unavailable. Sulfur (S) increases nitrogen utilization resulting in a higher level of protein. Sulfur also helps in the reduction of nitrate buildup and non-protein nitrogen within the plant. It improves photosynthesis by increasing the chlorophyll content of the plant and aids in the synthesis and function of plant enzymes and vitamins. Sulfur also reduces the soil pH in a micro environment making more phosphorus available. Sulfur also helps improve your soil structure. NutriEdge fertilizers are formulated with potassium thiosulfate
(KTS). The KTS is a much better form of potassium than KCL, which is used
to make other "nickel" fertilizer blends. Even with high testing
soils in NE, less than about 10% of potassium is actually exchangeable;
so solubility for plant uptake is important. |

| With the higher cost of farming
today it has never been more important to get every advantage you can. One
of the best advantages is higher yields. Getting more yield is the challenge.
Increasing fertilizer rates only increases the costs, and with record high fertilizer prices it's not a solution. NutriEdge is the solution to soil and plant fertility. NutriEdge provides the right nutrient balance that is usually overlooked. |
Wheat needs more than just nitrogen in the spring. A balanced nutrient application will boost plant health, nutrient content in plant and soil, and ultimately increase yield potential. Because some nutrients can be unavailable for plant uptake early in the spring with cold soil temperatures, foliar applying these nutrients can get them into the plant sooner. | |||

| NutriEdge P26 is our high phosphorous starter for when your soil tests are calling for more P. The full analysis is 8-26-3-4. If your soil tests call for Zn, don't settle for unavailable Zn in other starter fertilizers. By upgrading to our P26 Plus and get a special package based on your needs which can include root growth stimulants, chelated Zn that won't tie up in the soil, making it available for plant uptake. | That's why we're introducing the NutriEdge fertility package. N25 will give your wheat a blast of available nutrients when it really needs it. Not only will wheat respond to the 25% nitrogen, but it will also take up the 2% potassium and the 3.5% sulfur. Remember, the 2% potassium derived from KTS is more available to plants than other topdress fertilizers. | |||

| P13 is our low P, high N blend that's a good fit on soils testing high in P that still need a balanced starter of N-P-K-S. You can also add the Plus package if needed. This has lower N-P ratio which is good choice for dry-land crops. | Even thought N25 is great for fertigation on corn, sometimes you need less K and more N & S, that's why we have N28. This blend is a popular because it's effective and economical, as well as better than straight 32%. Even in high organic matter soils where sulfur is more plentiful we can still get a yield response from foliar applied sulfur. | |||
