Seed Report           continued

"The Department of Agriculture is responsible for enforcement of Plant Variety Protection violations in Nebraska.  Private seed companies are authorized to take appropriate legal action.
Contact the Department of Agriculture (402-471-2394) for more information about your rights and responsibilities with PVP varieties."
Some of the new varieties Ag Valley will be selling are:  Post Rock, Hawken, Art and
Overland.  Bulk bins at Arapahoe will have Post Rock, Tam 111, Millennium and Jagalene.
Indianola will have Post Rock and Millennium and Maywood will have Tam 111.  The Arapahoe and Indianola sites will be able to treat the wheat with a fungicide.  Seed wheat, again this year, is going to be tight.  The sooner you get it ordered, the better off you will be.  Some of these newer varieties are going to be sold out fast.  See your agronomist today and get your certified wheat ordered.
