Valley and Cattle Fax have teamed up to present a series
of meeting designed to help our cow-calf
producers position themselves for the future.
The meetings will be in the following locations on the respective
dates:
October
8 - Cambridge, NE at the community hall
October 9 - Mullen, NE at the Rustic
October 10 - Thedford, NE at Stubs
October 11 - North Platte, NE at the Crab Leg
Registration is at 6:00 p.m.; meal at 6:30 p.m.; presentations
beginning by 6:50 p.m. at all locations.
The agenda for these meetings will be as follows:
· Gary Tibbetts - Zinpro Corp - Mineral interactions of
ethanol by-products in beef diets
· Dr. Aaron Stocker - University of Nebraska Research
and Extension - Feeding ethanol by-products in beef cow/calf
diets
· Jon Albro - Ridley Block Operations - Maximizing forage
utilization and supplementing co-product diets.
· Troy Applehans - Cattle-Fax - The current cattle industry
and how ethanol production will impact future cattle marketing
decisions.
These meetings are open to the public. A meal will be provided
